The leader of the Olympiacos team and athlete of Sfera Sports, Kostas Papanikolaou, visited his hometown, Diakleto Trikala, where yesterday (26/6) the naming ceremony of the open field of the region took place, which now bears his name.
The local authority and the Municipality of Trikala decided to acknowledge the contribution of the international athlete by naming the open field of the area after him. Despite the adverse weather conditions, a large number of people attended the event to honor and take photos with the captain of the men's national team.
